This great coffee from Finca Terrerito is named after legendary Lewis County resident George Jacunski. Locally known as “Running George” George was known for being a running black smith servicing farms on Tug Hill. 

 

This coffee is very representative of a higher end Honduran coffee exemplifying the traditional terroir of the Copan region. It has a nice chocolaty, caramel and chamomile profile. By purchasing this coffee directly from Finca Terrerito we’re able to guarantee a stable supply throughout the year, and Finca Terrerito is able to invest in making its community better. The Parainema varietal is from Honduras. It was developed in the Paraiso Department and has resistance to a particular nematode that can be very destructive to coffee. Hence, its name is “Parainema”.
