This great coffee from Finca Terrerito is named after legendary Lewis County resident George Jacunski. Locally known as “Running George” George was known for being a running black smith servicing farms on Tug Hill.
This coffee is very representative of a higher end Honduran coffee exemplifying the traditional terroir of the Copan region. It has a nice chocolaty, caramel and chamomile profile. The Parainema varietal is from Honduras. It was developed in the Paraiso Department and has resistance to a particular nematode that can be very destructive to coffee. Hence, its name is “Parainema”.
