Roasting Specialty Coffee in the Tug Hill Region

Luisa's Gesha

Price

$27.00

Luisa and (I) Scott met in San Pedro Sula, Honduras in 2025. We were able to catch up again in San Salvador at the Producer Roaster Forum in early spring of 2026 as well. Luisa’s coffees in 2025 were very good, but this year she had some exceptional Geshas. Noah and I both agreed that this particular coffee is one of the best we’ve encountered this year.
Luisa’s farm is located high in the Nariño region of Colombia. She is the first producer from this region that we have worked directly with. She is a 3rd generation coffee producer and in recent history her farm has become a model farm transitioning from more commodity grade towards high end specialty.
In addition to planting and growing exceptional varieties, Luisa has mastered many post harvest processes. This coffee is a washed anaerobic meaning, it was washed and soaked before going into a fermentation tank.

It’s a delightful, more tea-like coffee with notes of Raspberry, Honey, Lemongrass.

We’re excited to work with Luisa and can't wait to see what other great coffees she’s planning on growing and processing in the future. For more information about Luisa and what her farm, Finca San Antonio is doing, check out the “our partners” page of our website.

This microlot is available in 10oz bags.
