This is the second season that we have purchased coffee from Finca el Corintio. (Producer) Alex Portillo, was very excited about this nano-lot. He’s done very well with the Pacamara variety in the past. This was one of the coffees we were able to try at Alex’s home in Honduras.

During our visit we were treated to not only the amazing views and cooking by Alex’s mother and sister, but Alex put on an demonstrated the washing and fermentation techniques employed with this coffee. Alex’s innovation and forward thinking is something very special. He is currently studying Coffee Horticulture in Comayagua and has started working with other producers on how to improve their cup quality.

This Pacamara perfectly exemplifies his bright passion for coffee and we’re so happy to share it with you.
