  Our direct trade partner, Pablo Del Cid, continues to be adventurous and innovative on his family farm. This year he tried his hand at the honey process (when the fruit and pulp are washed from the coffee seed but the mucilage is left on to dry). I (Vanessa) am a big fan of honeyed coffees as they typically have notes of butterscotch or caramel! So I was excited about Pablo’s progressive spirit and am pleased with the results!
    We are excited to partner with Pablo and his wife, Eva, as they continue to improve their post-harvest processing and develop delicious specialty grade coffees. We truly believe this is only the beginning of a very good thing for all three of us – the Del Cid family, Tug Hill Roasters and YOU!  We hope you enjoy every sip!
